Multi-functional fault detection devices are manufactured for diagnosing Mercedes vehicles. Mercedes diagnostic devices have evolved from Mercedes C3 to C4 and C5, continuously improving to support all newly developed models. These devices are programmed to support all Mercedes passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, and heavy-duty vehicle groups. Diagnostic devices in Turkey are equipped with Turkish software and are user-friendly.

Fault Detection Devices

The Star Diagnostic Connect fault detection device is used for Mercedes models from 1991 onwards. The C5 device ensures 100% efficiency in fault detection for all new-generation vehicles and is used by authorized Mercedes service centers. Mercedes diagnostic devices are programmed exclusively for Mercedes vehicles.

Functions of the Fault Detection Device

Mercedes diagnostic devices used by authorized service centers allow system testing for ABS, ASR, SRS, MPL, GM, AC, and DASX OBD II systems in all Mercedes vehicles. The device enables reading and clearing of error codes, live data reading, system status checks, and adaptation of parts. Additionally, coding for the engine, body, chassis, and dashboard modules, as well as key configuration, can be done as part of general maintenance.

Software Features

Mercedes diagnostic devices include software for error code lists, parts catalog, and repair manuals. Designed to be compatible with Windows 7, these devices offer easy use with a Turkish version available in Turkey. Test results performed on the vehicle are automatically saved in the system, and all diagnostics can be viewed as a list. When buying or selling a vehicle, the diagnostic device can be used to perform necessary tests to understand the vehicle’s general condition.
